Valentine's Week

Last weekend we enjoyed a family Valentine's dinner in the city at Fogo De Chao. I dream about their filet and parmesan chicken, it's that good! We topped dinner off with a delicious slice of key lime pie.

Sunday night we had a girls night and enjoyed 50 shades darker. Wow! Time to wait another year for the third movie to come out.  We might buy the book and share it to find out what happens in the third movie.

Monday evening we hiked Stone Mountain for sunset. The weather was a little chilly, but perfect once we started working up a sweat. We reached the top of Stone Mountain, just in time to watch the sun set behind the city skyline.

Tuesday night I came home to flowers and chocolates for Valentine's Day, yum! Zac gave me my Valentine's Day present early on Saturday night. He was so excited and anxious to show me what he had gotten me. I love him and my new red Michael Kors purse. I wasn't expecting it, but I love it! It'll be the perfect accessory during football season too!

I had the idea to get Zac a cookie cake for Valentine's Day and fill the lid with lottery tickets. We don't usually buy scratch off tickets so it was something fun and different! I spent about $30 on tickets and he won $7. I was hoping he'd win big, but hey, $7 is better than no dollars.

Thursday night we said our final farewells to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.

We arrived early for a private event with some of the cast. We got a group picture, a circus gift bag, and ate dinner before enjoying our final Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.

We had a busy week, but it was a good one.

Until next time,

  1. OK I typically hate Valentine's Day, but your post makes it seem kind of fun. :-) I haven't seen the new 50 Shades movie yet but I want to!
