1 Year of Anticipation!

Happy Friday Y'all!

I've been waiting for this weekend to roll around for a year now!

A year ago, my friends and I were waiting online for the Dixie Chick tickets to be released. It's been a year of anticipation and excitement, and that weekend is finally here! Childhood dreams coming true this weekend. I grew up on Shania Twain and Dixie Chicks music. I never knew if I'd have the chance to see either group perform but after this weekend, I'll be 2 for 2.

I can't believe summer is coming to an end already. It always goes by so fast!

We've had quite the eventful summer. We lost a family member, lost jobs, found new jobs, moved apartments, found a puppy, enjoyed some quality time on the beach, and went on a couple road trips. With classes gearing back up to start on Monday, I'm racing around finishing my last minute to-do list, while appreciating every last second of sleep I can get before the days begin again when I'm a walking zombie.
Looking forward to the month of September as football season kicks off! We're in the process of hunting down tickets to the UGA season kick off game at the Atlanta Dome the first weekend of September. I'm bummed I won't be able to make it to the first home game in Athens that following weekend, but it'll be well worth as I'll be standing next to one of my best friends at the altar on her wedding day!
Wishing everyone a safe and fun weekend!

  2. YAY! So exciting the weekend you've been waiting for is finally here. I had the same experience with Taylor Swift last year. Waiting a year for a concert is excruciating! Hope you guys have a blast! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes

  5. I'm so sorry to hear about your family member passing away. My grandmother passed away around mothers day and honestly I can hardly remember what happened that month because I was so out of it. But that being said, I'm happy the rest of your summer was fun and you had a chance to visit the beach!
