Fourth of July Essentials

Hope everyone is planning on having a great Fourth of July.

Fourth of July has always been my favorite holiday. I love the tradition of family and friends coming together to celebrate our independence, our freedom, our love for good food, and good times. It doesn't hurt that we commemorate the night with an awesome display of fireworks too.

In getting ready for the fourth, I wanted to share with you some of my favorite things...

-This fourth of July waterproof blanket is what I use to lay on the grass and watch the fireworks. It's easy to clean off and roll up, and it's also great for laying on the beach. I love that the grass and sand just roll right off it.

-This popsicle pool float is just so cute. I'm loving all the different pool floats this year. My parents have an in ground pool, and it's always full of fun floats.

-This beer cap map is so awesome. I've seen people make things out of beer caps before, but I love that you could hang this on the wall. If you hang with a bottle drinking group, this would be perfect for you.

- Patriotic Pool Towels are a must. Not just for the fourth, but year round, duh. #Merica

-Patriotic bathings suit. Only $17.99 at Target! "Whoop whoop"

-Party drinks. All summer long I keep saying I'm going to try a new drink recipe and I've yet to do so, so this holiday, I'm doing it!

I already have my recipes picked out:

If you're looking for some celebratory drinks, I think these sound delicious!

Colleen and Brianna over at "Like Mother, Like Daughter" taught me how to make a layered drink and it's way easier than I thought.

I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Fourth of July!

  1. I never thought of bringing a waterproof blanket to watch the fireworks, but it makes so much sense! I need to remember that for our weekend!

  2. A waterproof blanket?! So cool. Hope you had a great 4th!

  3. I really want to make that drink. It sounds so yummy and perfect for summer!
