#HASHTAGHUMPDAY Link-up

Hey guys, sorry I've been MIA the last couple weeks. I'm struggling finding the extra time to blog. I cannot wait for this semester to be over. At the beginning of the semester, I think I can juggle the world, and by the end of the semester, I'm struggling to function and make it to finals week. My fourth online class started last week following spring break. It's a mini-semester class so it's 4 months of work crammed into a month and a half, oh yes. #isitsummertimeyet

My spring break was two weeks ago and as much as I'd like to say it was nice and relaxing, I stayed busy and on the go! I worked 12 hours shifts on Monday and Tuesday and drove to Atlanta on Wednesday to have some repairs and parts replaced in my vehicle. I live near Savannah, GA so let me tell you why it was more convenient for me to make the four drive to have this work done, versus let my local dealership do the work.

After taking my vehicle to a Ford dealership in Atlanta and being quoted $650 to have parts replaced, I was completely floored when my local Ford dealership quoted me $1200 to have the same work done. The guy acted like he was doing me favor when he offered me an additional 10% off my quote for being a student at the local university. It's sexist how these service centers try to pull one over on you because you're a female. I told the guy who quoted me $1200, that I wasn't paying a dime over $650. Moments later he returns and says, ok we'll do it for $650. No thanks. I don't do business with scammers. #byefelicia #takemybusinesselsewhere

Over my spring break, we went to Savannah for the St. Patricks Day Parade and festivities. My best-friend came from Atlanta and spent the weekend with me. #stpattysday2016

We had a blast. We waited for the parade to come around before heading down to Riverstreet to join the 'Bud Light: Change You Can Drink' party. By that time it was already 4pm, so Zac swung by and picked us up on his way home from work. I had to work 3rd shift later that night so I got home, took a nap, cleaned up, and went to work.

Friday afternoon, we hit the beach. They're in the process of filming a movie called Baywatch on Tybee Island with the The Rock and Zac Efron. We were hoping to see something, but they were still in the early stages of setting up for filming. Later that night, we went out with some mutual friends and invited everyone to join us downtown for the St. Patty's Day celebrations. A lot of our friends showed up and we had a great time. We bounced around to a couple of bars, stopped at a slushi bar, and then ended the night at the best Pizza place in town, Sweet Melissa's, or tired to at least. The line was so long, we eventually gave up and caught a ride home, but if you ever find yourself in Savannah, #1- send me an email and #2- go to Sweet Melissa's lol.

Saturday, we spent the day exploring downtown Savannah. It never gets old. Savannah is one of those historic cities that's just so beautiful. We spent some of the day shopping on Broughton street, which if you haven't been to Savannah, it's the street filled with all the best shops. Everything from Kendra Scott, Michael Kors, Lilly Pulitzer, LOFT, and the list continues...

Another great place to stop, The Paris Market, I love design and decor and this cute antique themed shop has some great pieces. Recently, they've been showcasing variations of tungsten inspired lamps.

Every time I stop by The Paris Market, I try a different macaroon. This time I tried birthday cake and lemon. Both so good, but of course birthday cake flavor won in my book.

They dyed the Forsyth Park Fountain green for St. Patty's Day. This park is also a must see if you ever find yourself in Savannah. It's so beautiful. I actually have a friend getting married here next year. I didn't even know this was a venue option. I'm like darn it! Why didn't I know this?! It's not like I'm engaged or anything though...which speaking of...he did ask me for my ring style as I was shopping around Savannah that day. I don't think he has any plans at the moment, but I know his family keeps asking the question, "So when are you going to propose already?!"

I don't think I've ever gone out to the bars three nights in a row before. We definitely lived it up and had a blast. Zac was cracking me up Saturday night. After a few long islands, he's on the dance floor saying, "I'm having so much fun! Why don't we do this more often?!" Hahaha...I died with laughter. My boyfriend, on the dance floor?! That's a first! I was so happy everyone had a great time. #myboyfriendgotlit
