5 Make-up Must Haves!

There's a handful of products I've had my eyes on lately so with it being close to my birthday, I decided to have some fun and splurge a little. After all, makeup is the one thing I consistently use on a daily basis more than anything else I own, so why not have some fun and spice things up a bit.

I was at Ulta a few weekends ago when I tried on Urban Decay's glitter eyeliner. I've owned something similar to it in the past, so I wasn't quite sure if I was ready to invest in a similar product or not. After trying on the pink glitter eyeliner and wearing it out and about for the day, it grew on me. I decided to buy the silver so I wouldn't be limited as to what I could wear with it. So far, I'm loving it. Who doesn't love a reason to add some glitter to their day?

I typically use eyeshadow to make the line under my eyes, and although that's a great inexpensive way to do it, it doesn't last as long as I'd like it to and it usually ends up transferring into the creases underneath my eyes. I tried on this eyeliner at the mall and thought it would be a great solution to my problem. The color, Demolition, is a dark brown. I'd pair it with your night makeup vs. day makeup. Eventually, I'd like to get a color to wear during the day also. Secretly, I just hope to own the entire eyeliner collection some day. I love Urban Decay's products!

I'm an avid Kat Von D trooper liquid eyeliner kinda girl, but at $18/ a piece, I wanted to see what else was out there. I'd also been seeing a lot of people trying the cat eye technique and recommending you get an eyeliner palette like this. I love my Kat Von D eyeliner, but I also wanted an eyeliner that had less of a shine and more of a matte finish. This product has been perfect so far! I went to MAC and told them what I was looking for and they suggested I try out the different brushes they sold to see which type I preferred. I ended up purchasing the brush that resembles the Kat Von D liquid eyeliner brush.  It takes some getting used too, but for $16.50, I'd definitely buy this product again.

Mom and I have always been lovers of the Estee Lauder Double Wear Mascara because it gives you the thickest, boldest, most natural looking lashes ever. We'd always let it dry, and then go back and add a second coat and because the mascara would build so well. You almost looked like you were wearing a set of fake eyelashes. We loved the coverage it provided. We were beyond disappointed and sad to find out they had discontinued our favorite mascara. Do they not know how hard it is for a girl to find a mascara she truly loves?! Since they've discontinued it, we've been on the search for a replacement and I think we've finally found it. Ditch those convenient store mascaras ladies, and grab you a tube of Urban Decay Preversion Black Mascara ASAP! You will not be disappointed. It builds great and will definitely make your lashes pop if you're into the bold lash look.

I've been searching for a bold lip color, and after many attempts, I finally found a color I fell in love with. It's glossy but not shiny. I was pleased with how the color turned out in pictures.
