Sweet Tooth Smoothie

Sometimes I get that sweet tooth craving where I just have to get my hands on something sweet. When I started looking into managing my protein, carbs, and fat, I started experimenting and trying to  find a way to combine all three in a healthy shake. That's when I came up with this recipe and I've been making it everyday since. 

1/4 cup oatmeal 
1 scoop of french vanilla protein 
1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk 

optional: a handful of almonds.


...and blend. I use my nutri bullet to mix everything up. 

You can also add a handful of ice to the smoothie to make it chill or stick it in the fridge for a few hours to let the oatmeal soften up. I find that it's sweeter and tastier when I let it sit in the fridge longer.
