Family Vacation In Nashville: Part 1

I love the views of the mountainous drive to Tennessee. Wednesday morning we packed up the RV and headed North towards our destination, Nashville.

During our vacation, we decided to drive into the city and visit the Country Music Hall of Fame. They had exhibits featuring everything from old country to new country. Luke Bryan is starring in their big featured artist exhibit right now. Perfect timing because I LOVE Luke Bryan and we didn't even know about it until we arrived. The exhibit had everything documenting his success from beginning to now.

The exhibit listed the background and history behind Bryan's success.

The lyrics Bryan wrote for his song, "I Don't Want the Night to End".

On the left are Luke and Caroline's designer outfits they wore to the 2015 ACM Award Show. Caroline wore a custom Roberto Cavalli gown. The beadwork on this gown was amazing! I wonder how long it took them to make it. Bryan wore a suit by Tom Ford. They had multiple outfits worn by him and his wife to the award shows they've attended over the years. His wife, always wears a custom designer gown, and Luke almost always wears Tom Ford.

Hey Luke Bryan! I'll be your back-up date if you ever need one.

The last piece of the exhibit was about Bryan's success with his spring break tour (which has now ended, sigh). However, instead of PCB, you can now find him in Mexico come January performing at Mexico Rivera for an exclusive 4- night event. (It's only $3,000-$5,000, who wants to go?? lol)

Dixie Chicks, love them!

They had the funnest area, inspired by Taylor Swift, where you could go behind this tour bus and in there were a couple of sound booths and recording stations where you could record yourself or your group singing. Then, you could sit down and edit your track and send it to yourself. They only had 4 songs you could sing and choose from. We had so much fun with it though! We recorded ourselves singing to "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", and then we karaoked to the other three songs.

It was a fun day at the Nashville Country Music Hall of Fame. If you're in town, definitely check it out. I love country music but I wasn't very familiar with the exhibits of the older country music stars who paved the way for country music. They had a good variety of both old country music and new country music exhibits. It was fun to look at the older exhibits and see how far country music has come.
